Description

The SVIESTS compilation of Latvian etno-music is released every other year. This eighth edition provides and insight into the processes of contemporary Latvian ethno-music as well as the collaboration of Latvian musicians with artists from other countries and traditions. The aim is to represent the varied, colourful and sometimes unexpected expressions of traditional music that can be found nowadays.
