Haralds Sīmanis is a unique singer-songwriter, who has no musical education, but learned to play the guitar and the organ by himself. Already since the 1970ties Sīmanis started to co-operate with the poet Arvīds Ulme. Sīmanis became well-known in 1980 when he had an appearance in a song competition in TV.
He mainly performs solo, sometimes accompanied by musician friends.
