The group exists since 2000 and unites a bunch of highly creative musicians, who are active in diverse music genres – folk, folklore, Early music and other. Rīsa Zvejnieki mainly play Latvian folk songs in their own setting, using various, also not so traditional and not so Latvian instruments, thus creating a fresh and sometimes unusual sound. The group has released already two albums.
