“Banga” is a traditional music group, whose members interweave their lives as modern townspeople with the customs of the years, and also create events where folklore materials talk about current processes in the modern world. During the eight years of its operation, “Banga” has gone through different periods, basically continuing to get acquainted with Latvian folklore materials, honoring the polyphony of different regions and devoting itself to joyful dances.
