Creative leader of bagpipes and drums group Auļi. Plays the kokle, flute, but mainly bagpipes. In 2007 he establishes his own recording Studio Lauska, where most of the recordings released by “Lauskas” are recorded and produced. Created the soundtrack for the documentary “Kurši” (The Curonians). Participant in and creator of many musical projects, such as the dance performance “No zobena saule lēca”, “Zvaigžņu rakstu kalējiņi”. Creates music for the Latvian Nation-wide Song and Dance Celebration.
