Description

“Walking in a Foreign Land” is the fifth album by Dūdalnieki. Featured on this album are a variety of songs, including dance tunes, a lullaby, wedding songs, and mythological songs about the sun, moon and the stars. Five of the tracks were documented outside Latvia and the rest are from all over Latvia – from the Western coast of Courland to the Eastern region of Latgale. As the group members, their parents and grandparents come from many different parts of the country, so the group are able to represent all of Latvia abroad.
