The Latvian Bagpipes and drums group\u00a0\u201cAu\u013ci<\/a>\u201d will release a new album \u201cGadalokos<\/a>\u201d at the beginning of June dedicated to the seasons of a year. Each of the members of \u201cAu\u013ci\u201d has composed a new piece to reflect on his or her feelings about one particular season.<\/p>\n

The group was founded in\u00a02003 and developes bagpipe and drum music in Latvia. They have always gained inspiration from traditional music and use elements of traditional tunes, but also compose their own pieces.<\/p>\n

The bagpipes and drums group\u00a0\u201cAu\u013ci<\/a>\u201d new album \u201cGadalokos<\/a>\u201d presentation will take place on Saturday, June 4th in C\u0113sis at the Vidzeme Concerthall\u00a0“C\u0113sis”<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Special guests at the concert will be\u00a0Valdis<\/a>\u00a0andR\u016bta Muktup\u0101veli,<\/a>\u00a0who will perform in the first part of the concert their programme\u00a0\u201eMani balti b\u0101leli\u0146i\u201c, dedicated to the ancient and contemporary Baltic tribes.<\/p>\n
